Standards Adherence

All FundSERV customers are required to adhere to the Mandatory Standards Document.

Adherence is monitored in four ways:

1. Standards Adherence Audits – Performed weekly to verify the data integrity of files generated by Manufacturers
2. Mandatory Standards Questionnaire - Distributed to Manufacturers on an annual basis
3. Late File Reports – Performed daily to monitor file delivery
4. Violation Investigation – Performed on an ad hoc basis after a violation is reported

Companies found not adhering to the Mandatory Standards Document will be given 30 days to make the necessary changes. If compliance is not met after this time, companies could face fines of up to 10% of their FundSERV fees. Late delivery of files may also result in a penalty.
