Testing is a significant component to any software development project. With each release of the ESG Standards customers are provided with an extended testing period. ESG v14 testing began on April 28, and runs eight weeks up to implementation. All participants are strongly encouraged to test new functionality as early as possible to avoid post-production surprises.

Major changes for June that should be thoroughly tested include the new non-ATON external transfers, as well as the account setup and AddPAC XML messages.

Furthermore, the transition to PKI-enabled access to FundSERV Web Services this June requires all v14 testing to be accessed through an IDentity digital certificate.

FundSERV's testing department is available to assist you with any issues related to standards testing. The team can be reached by e-mail at testing@fundserv.com or by calling 1-877-969-8378 or 416-362-1042.

A list of fund companies that are currently testing in the v14 test environment is posted on the FundSERV Web site.

The v13 test environment is available until June for companies that are joining the FundSERV network prior to implementation of ESG v14.
