Customers reviewing the V17 implementation schedule will notice that FundSERV has made some changes, based on their V16 feedback and lessons learned during the implementation process. The following list identifies changes that will provide the greatest benefit to FundSERV's customers.

| Some customers felt they needed more than seven weeks to complete their testing. |

We are extending the testing period from seven weeks to 10 weeks for V17. Our test environment will be opening earlier this year, to allow our customers the time they require to fully assess the new version before implementation. |

| There is an issue in the processing of settlement files over an implementation weekend. |
 |
FundSERV facilitated a meeting with customers in September to discuss how implementation will be handled if changes are made to the AF and AT files. Customers discussed the pros and cons of various options. Their comments and recommendations will be reviewed by the ESG. |

| There are still some customers who are not receiving important messages about changes to ESG standards. |
 |
We are looking at alternative methods of communicating to ensure we reach all our customers. It is especially important that we convey information about mandatory standards. |

| Progress updates |

A new section of the Web site was created to provide updates on the working groups. From May to August, work-in-progress documentation posted on each working group's page tracked the decisions being made for the V17 standards. The recommendations developed from these documents formed the basis of the ESG Helpfile, published in draft form in September. |
