Files, orders, and rejects

Did my FD file pass?

Provide FundSERV technical support with a generic e-mail address for automatic updates on FD file validations and failures.

Why did my wire order fail?

Wire orders usually fail because of XML Schema errors or FundSERV Business edit errors. You can find a list of error codes and their meanings in the Helpfile.

Can you pick up a file manually?

Yes, but this is not always granted. It would be for case by case consideration for manufacturers only.

How do I restore a file?

Connect to FundSERV Services, click on File Transfer and select the Restore tab.

Can you generate an FD file for me?

We can create an FD file with all the values stored in the database for active funds. This list is based on information provided by the manufacturers, and may not be complete.

Connecting to FundSERV

I can't connect to FundSERV Services/FUNDportal/FUNDcom.

If your Internet connection is otherwise working, call FundSERV technical support with the following information: what application you're trying to use, the last time you connected successfully, and whether other users at your office are having the same problem.

I get the message "Access Denied" when I attempt to view the
ESG standards.

Try deleting temporary internet files (under Tools in Internet Explorer). Have your IT support check to see that port 389/829 is open, Sun Java is installed, and Microsoft Virtual Machine is disabled.

A Schedule C was submitted yesterday, but I still don't have access. Why?

It can take six hours to set up a new user. Also, check to see if your LRA requested for you to have access.
