| As supervisor of FundSERV testing, Mark Bruce maintains a vision of a more efficient industry and more "free time" for his customers. | |||||||
| Ensuring FundSERV customers have timely information and quality resource materials at their disposal is what the technical communications department strives for every day. | |||||||
| In April, FundSERV's 2003 Roadshow will be travelling across the country to present what's coming up at FundSERV. | |||||||
| During FundSERV's inaugural year of participating in the United Way's charity drive, FundSERV employees and the Company far exceeded their original target. | |||||||
| The FundSERV network was a busy one in 2002, with increased usage of all core services. | |||||||
| Electronic Standards Group (ESG) |
|||||||
| The electronic standards group (ESG) published a draft version of Standards Helpfile 14 on January 13, 2003, with a two-week comment period for industry feedback on the new standards. | |||||||
| Inconsistent processing of previous period contribution receipts has long been a problem in the industry. | |||||||
| FundSERV is currently developing enhancements to allow for payment exchange in Euro and Pound Sterling (UK) currencies. | |||||||
| The January 2003 Helpfile release, version 14, includes new standards that will dramatically reduce the number of external transfers still being done manually in the investment fund industry. | |||||||
| Last year, under direction from its board of directors, FundSERV developed a Web site that displays functionality supported by each participating fund company. | |||||||
| Account Setup via XML Messaging, as part of the AddPAC message, has been upgraded from DRAFT status and is now a standard. | |||||||
| IDentity/PKI |
|||||||
| As of June 2003, all core Web-enabled applications will require PKI digital certificates for access. | |||||||
| FundSERV's electronic billing process uses the Company's public key infrastructure (PKI) to provide enhanced on-line security, so customers need to have an established local registration authority (LRA) to participate. | |||||||
