What is it?
File Forwarding System (FFS), also called File Transfer, allows customers to exchange electronic files.
Who uses it?
Distributors and intermediaries
How does it work?
With FFS, customers can download files from the FundSERV directory, upload batch files to FundSERV, or restore files that were accidentally deleted (within the current month plus the previous two months).
To comply with the Retention principle of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, FundSERV retains the files for 13 months and removes all personal information from the files after three months.
Customers can view and sort files such as:
- Account Reconciliation (AA)
- History (AH)
- Month-End Reconciliation (AM)
- Price (AP)
- Sales Commission (AW)
- Service Fees (AS)
- Settlement Instruction (AF)
- Transaction Reconciliation (AT)
- Non-Financial Update (NFU)
- Order Entry (TFS)
- GIC
See diagram of order lifecycle.
