What is it?
Net Settlement Reporting (NSR) matches orders to settlement instructions, facilitates reconciliation, aggregates and reports net settlement amounts and distributes settlement instruction information to the distribution channel.
This service calculates the payment amounts that are exchanged through Net Settlement Messaging (N$M). Customers can join as N$M participants or non-N$M participants.

How does it work?
NSR provides online processing of investment fund transactions, from order placement to payment of settlement amounts:
- Edit orders as they are received.
- Match orders to contracts, reporting any exceptions.
- Calculate the total net settlement amount, which is updated daily to reflect any changes made to the information.
- Use this calculation to determine the net amount owed by or owed to a customer. This is the settlement obligation to be paid by or to that customer through Net Settlement Messaging (N$M).
Using NSR, customers can view settlement amounts by:
- settlement date
- participant
- fund ID
- category
- trade date
