Investing in the Personal and Professional Lives of its Team Earns Fundserv a Spot as One of Greater Toronto’s Top 100 Employers

Fundserv Inc., is honoured to announce it has been named one of Greater Toronto’s Top 100 Employers of 2018. This annual competition recognizes employers in the Greater Toronto Area who offer exceptional workplaces for their employees.

This award builds on Fundserv’s recognition as a Great Place to Work and further highlights the Company’s commitment to continuously improving the workplace with policies and initiatives that engage and inspire.

“It’s an honour to be named alongside such an elite group of employee-first companies,” said Karen Adams, President and CEO, Fundserv. “This further cements what makes Fundserv a truly special organization – the people. By taking the time to listen to what our employees value most, and make it part of our core values, we have created the space for them to do their best work and inspire others to do it too!”

Fundserv focuses on providing the right tools and opportunities for both professional and personal growth. This starts with understanding that employees must be able to balance their lives in and outside the office. Some of the reasons Fundserv was selected include:

  • Support for new parents with maternity and parental leave and generous top-ups including for adoptive parents.
  • A health spending account that allows employees to top up levels of coverage to suit their personal needs, and a wellness spending account
  • offers generous referral bonuses as an incentive for employees to recruit candidates from their personal networks, ranging from $3,000 to $5,000

“We are dedicated to our employees outside the office as much as their career development,” said Julie Loyola, Director, Head of Human Resources, Fundserv. “That is why we have tailored our HR programs and policies to fit their needs. We believe that creating an environment that provides the opportunities and resources for employees to be successful only increases the success of the organization as a whole.”

Employers throughout the GTA were evaluated by the editors at Canada’s Top 100 Employers using the same criteria as the national competition, including workplace amenities, employment and health benefits, and the company’s dedication to employee development.
