New Personal Information Review Working Group launches November 13, 2024

Our commitment to privacy and data protection is integral to how we build, collaborate and support members. Canadian privacy laws emphasize that organizations retain personal information only for the necessary duration and use the minimum amount required to perform job functions.

The working group will focus on two critical privacy objectives:

1. Reducing file retention: evaluate opportunities to reduce the amount of time Fundserv retains files.
2. Minimizing data exchange: evaluate opportunities to minimize the exchange of personal information, particularly sensitive categories of personal information, across the network.
