Announcements

A message to all members from Cameron Murray, Chair, Fundserv Board of Directors
December 19, 2022

As a long-standing, active member of Fundserv’s Board, and previously holding the Chair position, it is my pleasure to announce that I will assume the role as the Chair of Fundserv’s Board of Directors, effective immediately.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Katherine MacMillan as Fundserv’s President and CEO, effective January 2023. Katherine is no stranger to Fundserv; she has held a seat on our board since 2014 and has served our board as the Chair since 2016.

Katherine brings with her over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has a successful track record of leading organizations and building teams to execute strategic plans, lead transformational change, and efficiencies. Given her role on the Board of Fundserv, she brings with her an extensive knowledge of the organization. Most recently, Katherine was Global President and CEO at International Financial Data Services (IFDS). Under her leadership, IFDS experienced record growth driven by performance focused targets, improved employee engagement and client experience. The Board and I look forward to working with her to execute on the mission of Fundserv.

Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership from Queen’s University. Katherine was also honoured as one of Canada’s top leaders in the Top 40 under 40 program, a national program that uniquely celebrates the achievements of 40 Canadians in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, who have reached a significant level of success before the age of 40. Katherine is a board member of Second Harvest and sits on the Smith School of Business Advisory Board as well as Junior Achievement Central Ontario’s Board of Governors, in her new role she will continue to hold a seat as a Director of Fundserv board.

While Katherine steps into her new role, Betty Ng will continue to serve Fundserv as Chief Finance and Risk Officer. On behalf of the Board, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Betty for her interim Acting CEO role.

We look forward to Katherine’s appointment.

Thank you,
Cameron Murray
Chair of the Board, Fundserv
