Membership Process

Becoming a Fundserv member as a Distributor, Intermediary, or Manufacturer takes three simple steps:

Registering a Code

All members are assigned codes through which they are identified within our network. To obtain a code, complete the Code Registry application for your member category—Manufacturers, Distributors, and Intermediaries. Once submitted in good order, we will assign your organization a code and then include the registry in a publication to the industry. This process effectively reserves a unique code until you are ready to be onboarded to the network.

Getting Started

The Getting Started phase establishes the contract with your organization and includes all other information we need to know about your company in order to properly onboard you to the network. Distributors and Manufacturers can access the Getting Started Package directly from our site.

Getting Connected

Once we have executed the member contract, Fundserv’s Technical Support team will start creating your test environment, which can take up to 48 hours to complete.

New member organizations are required to complete five days of successful testing for any new, or additional, codes. Once testing is successfully completed, your test script must be validated by our technical support team, after which your final sign off must be provided to Fundserv. Following this, new companies may go live on Fridays at 4 pm ET.

A representative from our Industry Engagement team will further explain Fundserv’s go-live process for officially introducing you on our network.

Most new Fundserv members connect to the network through Service Providers. The list below outlines the Service Providers connected to our network. As this is an important relationship, we recommended that you carefully research which Service Provider best fits the needs of your business.

Fees

Per Each Transaction

The minimum monthly network fee is $100. If fees incurred from file transfer and file size fees total less than $100, the Distributor will be charged the network minimum. If the total of file transfer and file size fees is greater than the minimum, the Distributor will pay the total.
